| Ok, so right?
My dad went to the doctor the other day and he said that he has to have an operation to replace his ICD (it's a heart device) on May 2. SO NO COACHELLA. HOW DISAPPOINTING. Oh, well. He has to test it before then with this magnet that my mom and I throw at the refrigerator when we get bored. It's probably not good that we throw it at things since it's considered a medical device, but who cares? Anyway, he has to hold this magnet up to his device and it'll make a sound. It's like one of those tones that comes from a musical greeting card, but nice and long. If it beeps or the sound wavers we should...call 911.
I've been feeling really conscious about my self-image lately. I don't know why! I didn't care as much a week ago...it's like a sudden thing. And now my dad is giving me shit about trying to look nice. He keeps asking me who I'm trying to impress, but when did it ever become his business? | The EBE boards are back up. I felt like I was going into withdrawal or something. The internet (or MBs specifically) is like nicotine, but with different side effects. But now, the EBE site is running slow and never loads. I'm on broadband, so I'm guessing that the site itself is down. Oh, well. Back to ICQ and finishing my first period schoolwork.

Don't get discouraged by me saying this, but the lead singer sounds a bit like Chris Carrabba of Dashboard Confessional.
They're not too poppy, but they do have a slightly happy tone to their music. Off their new (four-song) EP "The Traitor," the track "le Traitor (Goodbye, Goodbye) has to be my favorite. It's really upbeat and overall is infectious. "Saving Daylight" is probably the next best track. I highly suggest that you preview it...
